Alexis is a true expert at her craft! I first went to her because I wanted a curly cut, and she gave me incredible cuts and products that helped me embrace my natural curls. About a year ago, I switched it up to embrace a more low maintenance cut and routine, and she’s rolled with my requests each time. She’s a joy to spend time with, and I look forward to our appointments because she has such a wonderful energy.

Alexis is the BEST. Once you start at Salon EGEAUX you won't be comfortable letting anyone else cut your hair. She is a natural hair whisperer. I'll never go elsewhere.

I wish I could give more than just 5 stars because in all honesty this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve had a curly cut done in the past but the one I had here with Alexis was amazing. She doesn’t rush, she takes her time and really listens to exactly what you want and explains everything thoroughly. If you have curls then run - don’t walk - to Salon Egeaux! I have gone to a number of “popular” curly hair salons/stylists in DC for almost 13 years and this was the first time I have left not only satisfied with my curly cut but ecstatic! I have soft/fine curls that are normally difficult to cut and style well, but not Alexis.
