Visiting from out of state and wanted to have my hair washed, deep conditioned, rolled and blown out with Round brush. I even had pictures of my hair styled from my personal Dominican stylist from home. I left with my hair blow dried, not round brush and not styled at all. Honestly, what stylist does this really? Salon in Henrico County off of Laburnum and Mechanicsville Turnpike.
This shop is overpriced and the manager was VERY RUDE. I bought 3 kids in today to have their hair washed,dryed then wrapped. I specifically told them to clip my middle one's edges and not the baby. They clipped the youngest one hair ANYWAY. They charged me 125.00 for services I NEVER asked for. They also charged me for natural hair when all of the kids hair has been processed before.Then when I bought it to the manager's attention she got smart several times with me. Gretchen is the best stylist I've ever had there; However All the ladies that work there are Excellent in their own right I wish they could come to this area I went to the Mechanicsville Turnpike location down the st from Roses Big Lots and opposite from Walmart on Belle Harbour Rd
I used both the Hull St and the Newport News locations. I love the no wait and that the price list is posted as opposed to being surprised by the price after my hair is done. People complain that the dryers are hot or not good for our hair, but no different from a hot comb.
The best...I have tried a couple of Dominicans for my daughter but this is the best one by far...
