Hairstylists are very friendly except for one man, but the managers or owners? are so snotty. I feel very unwelcome there. Its almost as if they are doing you a favor letting you in their door. Not a relaxing or fun experience.
I went to Luxe salon for about 3 years and saw the same stylist who always did a great job with my cut and color. I made the huge mistake of going somewhere alot closer to my house, cause I "logically" thought at the time it would save me gas, travel time, and i got sick of downtown parking with feeding the meters, parallel parking, etc. Boy do I regret my decision to stop going to Luxe!!! Best Salon LUXE and stylist LAURIE FLEAGLE!!!! – I just moved here from out of state a few months ago! After asking several people I've met where-on-Earth they got such gorgeous hair, I found LUXE! Laurie Freagle is my stylist and is absolutely amazing! She's honest, helpful, and super creative! I have been experimenting with blond, and she does an amazing job! Looking for great color & style? Meet George. – GEORGE at Luxe Salon is fantastic! I've lived in Denver since 1989 and have experienced a lot of good and bad cut/color work over the years. George is hands down the best color artist (yes, artist!) in Denver. He created a style that fits "me." I love his cuts and color and can't imagine my world without George. Thank you Citysearch for helping me find him! Kudos to all the staff at Luxe! All around great customer service!
Worst Experience Ever! – I had a cut and color scheduled with Arica. Ten minutes before my appointment the receptionist called to tell me that Arica came in sick but I could reschedule with Laurie for the same day. I took the 11:30 with Laurie. Then I got a phone call back telling me that Arica is staying and I can still see her, despite her being sick. I declined and said I'd take the appt with Laurie instead. You have to go see Laurie – Ever since I got my hair cut by Laurie I have gotten so many compliments. Also I love that my cut is growing out so beautifully as well. Laurie really listens to you and has a great sense of aesthetic, so you can leave your hair in her hands and love what she comes up with.
The best hair cut and color EVER! – After going to the wrong stylist, and having my hair severely over processed to the point that if I went back to that stylist for another "bleaching" my hair would start breaking off. After months of not wearing my hair down because it was so "fried" I decided to find a new stylist. Hallelujah I found George. Best Haircut/Color – Best hair cut and color from George! I went in with an idea of growing my hair out and decided to keep it short....George gave me the best short hair cut I've ever had. It grows out nicely and keeps it's shape very well. I was very impressed by him and will continue to make appointments...which means a lot because I've been in Denver for three years and this is the first hair dresser that I plan on sticking with. :)
If you are looking for an expert cut and fantastic color, go to George. He is amazing! He is an excellent listener who understands hair and how to make it look its best. I am a real control freak, but after a few visits to George I was completely in his able hands.
