I went there 2 times. The first time I went, the stylist said she could not do my sew-in the way I wanted (I wanted a side part and hair left out in the back to put my hair up in a ponytail) so I just had her do the standard weave with a middle part. The styling was ok. Not horrible not great. I decided to try them out again and this time I got a different stylist and she was able to do my hair the way I wanted the first time, the side part and hair left out. The shop was clean. I took my teen daughter there for a press & curl. We were greeted promptly by a very polite receptionist. The staff was professional & started on my daughter's hair right away. The receptionist was attentive to me while I waited. My daughter & I were both pleased with the results. Our only complaint was the way the stylist combed through her hair. According to my daughter, it was somewhat roughly & not done in a manner to minimize damage. However, her hair appeared shiny & healthy in the end.

I absolutely love this salon! The first time I stepped into Salon De Weave, I was greeted by a very professional and helpful receptionist. She helped me decide on which service was the best for me and my hair. Prices were very affordable. The salon itself looked beautiful and clean, it was fit for a Queen. Once I sat in the chair, I was out in no time at all. The services took only an hour and a half and I looked gorgeous. I've been to this shop quite a few times. Out of the 5 times I've been, I was satisfied twice. They Are Much to expensive to not even do quality work, They charge for everything, & the quality of work is mediocre to poor, I will not be going back to them.

Salon de Weave is what it is now called....Never will I ever get my hair done here again!!! They cannot do hair! I have been here previously to get my hair done, when it was The $50 weave shop and have never had much of a complaint. They charged me to do every little thing, like redoing an invisible part and charging just to cut the piece of hair that was added from the part, then after getting the part, its additional to get the closure...really??? and I had more then half a pack of hair left. The styling is the best ever. I was not happy with the customer service that I received when someone messed up my hair. I paid for a wash, style and curl and the hair was over processed and locked up ( as in dread locks) on me the same day. I went back to them and they did not want to even take the weave out after I offered to pay for a full service. This place is almost unrealistic! It's the best service I ever received. Professional, Friendly, Clean!, and Quality service. The ladies at the Highland Park Weave Shop are really raising the bar on salon service. From customer service to the styling game, I can't believe its something most people can afford. I can't explain in words, you have to see it to believe.
