No words. First the braider that was doing my hair had her baby with her IN THE SALON and was going over every few minutes to her to feed/ change/ soothe her. Fine. I can let that slide. Then if that wasnt enough I relized she CANT DO KNOTTLESS BRAIDS! I asked for knottless braids when I made the appointment...I have attached a picture of the "braids" that I was left with after walking out.
I had an appointment with this salon today. I just wanted my hair washed and detangled. The lady with the baby did my hair. To my horror, she lightly sprayed my hair with a detangler on my majority dry hair. I’ve never had that done before. I always thought that with black hair, you wash the hair first and then you detangle the hair. I wasn’t even at the wash bowl when she was detangling my hair. Honestly I wanted to like this place. They were able to book me last minute for a wash, blow dry and 6 cornrows. When I arrived, the shop was busy but my service started within a few minutes. The first red flag occurred at the wash bowl, when the lady doing my hair started to detangle my hair while it was dry. Anyone with 4C hair knows that this is a huge violation.
