So-So Experience – I had an okay experience with Mariah at Salon Blast. The cut was good, except about 2 inches too short- I've worn my hair up for a week since I had it cut. But the thing that's been bothering me is her attitude. She was very condescending to me, laughing at me often. In all honesty, I didn't think she deserved the tip I gave her, but I was too afraid of not giving her something, since she was the only one working at the time. Antonio is a hair guru – Yesterday I went into salon blast to get a much needed haircut. Another salon in town had chopped my long hair into an uneven choppy disgusting bob. This is the first time I ever went to blast and let me tell you it was an amazing experience. Antonio is so amazing at the art of cutting. He is a constant student with a very creative edge for cutting, coloring, and helping clients reach their full potential with finishing their hair. I was asked to be a Hair Model – I was Christmas shopping downtown Seattle when a pleasant guy approached me, and asked me if I wanted to be a hair model. It was very flattering. My Hair is my number one feature – I have been looking for a GREAT stylist who will give me a SIMPLE cut without the big ego since I moved to Seattle. Antonio is AMAZING – I had an incredible experience going to Salon Blast. I had searched for hair salons in Seattle, and am extremely picky as I imagine are most women with hair. Antonio was welcoming, funny, and TALENTED. I've spent hundreds on haircuts, and none compared to what I received from him. I am hooked for life.
Absolutley AMAZING!!! – After living in Southern California, Florida and Washington I have had the opportunity to go to many fine salons. I am very picky when it comes to my hair, because it is long, thick, highlighted/lowlighted, dry and unruly at times! My hair is definitely not the easiest head of hair to do or manage. Wonderful experience! – I had my first haircut at Salon Blast with Tim Wilson, and I will most definitely be going back. Tim sat with me and assessed my hair, really taking the time to look at it and talk with me about what I wanted. He was honest on what would look best on my face-shape, and gave me a cut that suited my lifestyle (long enough to put back in a ponytail, bangs long enough to tuck behind my ear, etc). It's worth my money to splurge, even on my student buget – I LOVE this Salon. The people there are always so friendly, and I know how difficult that can be day in and day out doing customer service. I have been to a few different people but I think Tim is by far one of my favorites. I know that when I go into the salon I will come out with the exact hair cut and more importantly hair color that I want. He makes sure we talk about it, and explains everything very thoroughly. 202 Five star ratings? People must have low standards – I am picky I know. I have had my hair cut all over the world and Seattle is probably the worst city for talent that isn't $75 for mens hair cuts. Not being at work on time when the apt was on your books for over 4 days is just lazy. Quality of stylist wasn't that great and seemed scared to cut difficult hair. Products used on my hair were not of high quality either. WONT BE BACK. EVER.
