Off to a bit of a rocky start but I'm optimistic about our time here after working briefly with Stephanie from the leasing office. Bedbug infestation. Vendors brought a bedbug infestation into the buildings. Management takes no responsibility. Avoid this complex and especially Building A. Update: building is engaging in retaliatory conduct. Vendors brought in bedbugs. Constantly violated fire code. Obstructed disabled parking. Left a messy work site. Trying to blame on longtime tenant. Building not taking responsibility. There were bedbug infested pillows in the dumpster. Perfect experience! They’ll tell you if you qualify that day, easy see it yourself walk through apartments. If an apartment doesn’t suit your needs they’ll direct you to one that fits your style and needs. Such sweet people at the office! Wonderful experience. Thank you Susan - edit: They are unwilling to work with you as a tenant if you’re facing hard times.
They violate Washington State RCW 59.18, the Residential Landlord-Tenant Act. Have a lawyer on call if you want to live here.
This is my second Essex property and I like this one way better!! They’re responsive, seem to do things the right way. The maintenance guys are great! They respond quickly and are helpful with my needs. It’s an apartment, not a brand new building, but it’s kept nice, And they fix things correctly, instead of just patching things to break again.
