This place and Junior/Refugio are very conscientious. There have been several times in which they checked my car out for free and at other times, they have repaired it for a lower cost than I might have had it done in Santa Cruz or other locations. Also, the shop has stayed open past its usual hours to make sure my car was ready for me, when the choice, for them, was stay longer than posted or have the car ready in the next morning or day. I recently needed an oil change in my Honda, and the car was knocking a little bit. So I decided to take it to Jr and Pepin at Salinas auto repair and transmission. As soon as I arrived within five minutes, I was greeted by Jr with a friendly smile. I told him I was wrong with my car and he said he was gonna look into it.
