I really hate to do this. I have been eating here since they opened. Today I got a large Tandoori chicken, curry chicken along with curry chickpeas. The food was watery and seemed to be leftover. I also got naan bread that was burnt. I threw that in the trash so I couldn’t provide pictures.
I think I have found my gyro place. I have visited Salims four times now. Every time the gyros are spot-on. The baklava is close to the top of my list. I will continue to trade my money for gyros for the foreseeable future. Thank you Salim. So,.... Salim retires on Monday. Last day there, tomorrow. 11-3. Sad to see him go. But I'm happy for him!. We love it there. They are so nice and friendly.
Everytime I go to Pittsburgh I stop here to get babaganouj and sleek!! As well as spinach pies! The food is consistently excellent - and service is fast - I'm so glad Salim's is still around!
Gyros are still the best,as well as all there mid-eastern food.
