Tried their amazing calzones thus evening! Oh my! Best I've ever experienced! 5 STAR for sure!

We planned a rather rushed graduation party for my daughter and her boyfriend, and needed to do it somewhere in the Mesa/Gilbert area so our family and friends didn't have far to go. We chose Salerno's after several rave reviews from friends, and they were amazing! They helped us put together the menu items, gave great suggestions on what worked best for our number of guests, and even made sure we had a separate space to celebrate and converse with everyone who came. We are from Elkhart, Indiana and have been here in the valley for 3 years. We have 2 Italian restaurants back in Indiana that we compare every pizza to. Antonio's & DaVinci's. Salerno's Pizzeria is the closest we have found and love it!!!! We will be back very soon!!!!!!!!!
Really really good gluten free pizza. I wish the server could have told me which toppings were gluten free too. The salad was plain and the service wasn't great, but the pizza was really very good. Will probably try take out next time.
