My first experience here a few months back was fine. Not great but fine. Today's was awful. The Medical Assistant immediately recognized that my throat/tonsils look terrible when doing a strep test, but the provider kept insisting it was fine "not red at all, actually very pale." Meanwhile I'm in so much pain I can't eat or drink fluids. I look in my throat in the mirror and my tonsils/uvula are bright red, and I have white spots all over my tonsils. But sure. Salem health is now accepting pacific source again.
We have tried to make an appointment twice now. Two weeks ago they said we HAD to go to the ER. Today there is only ONE provider in Salem today and they aren't taking appointments today?!?! Saturday morning at 930am? What is that nonsense? Where are all the providers?

I made an urgent care appointment for salem health yesterday. They called me back asking questions and then informed me that I should get in touch with my primary doctor. When I explained that I am no longer able to see the doctor I had, and I don't see my new doctor until next month, they proceeded to tell me I should go to the ER then. They canceled my appointment instead of seeing me. If I felt it was ment for the ER I would have gone there from the start.
