I am extremely disappointed with this practice. I scheduled what I understood to be a routine annual skin cancer screening and was surprised to later discover that the visit had been coded and billed as a 45+ minute office visit. Based on my experience, the appointment was a standard skin check and did not appear to reflect the length or complexity associated with that level of billing.
