OK, it's not really bacon. It's fatty pork, close enough. You come here for the yakitori/kushiyaki/skewers. I like meat, so I don't usually get the vegetable only ones. I like the the various pork wrapped vegetables (maki?) (the pork wrapped tomatoes in particular), and the various chicken parts (gizzards, hearts). Skewers run around $2/$3 each. Can get a little pricey, but I don't make it a habit. Parking is kind of a pain. Not super cheap. And you will end up a little smokey afterwards.

Loved it! – The skewers of meat and veggies were delicious! I ordered the Haru dinner and it was almost too much food for me but it was so good I ate it all. The mixed rice was excellent, with tasty mushrooms. The staff was friendly and attentive, no complaints about that. Love this place!

Popular Japanese grilled meat restaurant I found the food at Sakura House to be tasty, but a bit pricey for the amount of food you receive. Also, our server brought out one stick at a time, and waited until we finished the stick before she brought out the next one, so it took us a while to get all our food. I've only been there once, so other people's experiences may differ.

Sakura House is delicious and entertaining. Sakura House is a great robatayaki restaurant. All of the food is cooked on an open grill. It is very entertaining for children to watch the food cook as you wait for your meal. All of the food is fresh and delicious. It can get crowded, so go early or make a reservation.

Sakura House is not to be missed! Sakura House is one of my favorite places. Those little sticks of grilled meats and veggies are so delicious. Oh, and the rice balls and specials, don't forget those either. I've been going to this place for many years. It's always wonderful. It's in a tiny strip mall so be patient with parking. Make a reservation if you plan to go after 6:30. The place gets busy.

Sakura House is delicious! Looking for something different? Try kushiyaki. Just about everything here comes on a stick. And you can get just about anything on the sticks too. I love the asparagus wrapped in bacon, mushroom stuffed with mashed potatoes, and gingko nuts. You can also get gizzard and more exotic things as well. There are great appetizers too, like spicy salmon or bacon wrapped mochi. High quality, excellent service. A bit pricy but worth the treat!

smokey, small portians, rude chef – First, My wife is From Japan, and is an excellent cook, we eat Japanese food 90% of the time and eat in Japanese resturants all over Los angeles often, we also travel to several cities in Japan several times per year, and often eat in resturants there as well. I had seen this place for a while, and so one evening we decided to try it, there was only a couple of customers in the place when we arrived , and we sat at the end of the "counter". The "chef/owner", a guy with a pony tail, did not ... read more
