Horrifying experience taking father in law for valve replacement, no communication with family, in the waiting room for 7 hours for a 2 hour procedure, the rules change daily from two to one visitor and he called us at 10am the next day saying he hadn't been given breakfast!! I know the medical care is good but the customer service is a huge zero
Never will I ever return to St. Thomas West. My nurse, Laura Fessenden, RN was very impatient with me and overall down right irritable. I seriously wonder if she was hung over or drinking on the job because she had a distinct smell of alcohol on her breath the three days she worked with me. My husband called to check on his brother room 224 crital care 6-11-20 11;00 AM THE NURSE CUSSED HIM OUT!!! HIS BROTHER COULD DIE!! The worse experience in an ER ever! My elderly Mother fell and went by ambulance. Was told she was going to be transported to Cennental by ambulance. Had to run an emergency errand. Five minutes later, I received a call from the doctor saying they were releasing her! She was in the ER for six hours and not offered no water. Nothing! They did not even clean the blood off her face or hands from the fall! She came home with dried blood on her face. I had to flush the blood out of her nose.
