I received notification and wasn't sure if it was legitimate so, I called ST Thomas billing office. It evidently is legitimate but, the person at St Thomas stated, " no bill had been generated to send to us but, had been turned over to collections and he would send us the bill and get it back from collections." This is very poor practice to turn something over to a collection agency without ever sending to the patient first. We always pay our bills on time. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR. NOT ACCEPTABLE. I had femoral aortic bypass surgery on April 17th in 2023. Dr. Faulk was my vascular surgeon. He is a top of the line surgeon and recommend his staff to anyone. He fixed my legs and a new outlook on life. It is just so nice to be able to walk again with no pain. The hospital staff was also top of the line and helpful. I wasn't please on today I was supposed to be into surgery at 9 and here it is 12:45 and I'm still waiting because they had to give me this old lady as my nurse that forgot to put my results in that delay my surgery my blood sugar is dropping and she's no where to be found this staff needs help big time because I'm not happy at all
First of all like to say thank you so much for saving my beautiful wife and the mother of our two daughters the doctors and the nurses are so wonderful up there they are amazing. The heart specialist and the surgeon and his team are very wonderful and thank you so much I don't ever know how I repay y'all guys. Only go here if you want a Dr who has been criminally charged with assault (Nashville DA) against an employee working on you. You will get a better Dr at PetSmart!
St Thomas you are the worst Hospital Nashville gas to offer! The staff on the 5th floor is Rude There was a St Thomas Tech Named DJ who said my Husband had to pay for his Actions well Bitch Boy let's see if you can lose your job for Treating my Family like a prisoner! Just about to get my walking papers from ST Thomas. Been here since Friday after ER visit due to shortness of breathe non Sars Covid related beware lots of bad stuff going around Wear your masks you don't want any of it hospitals and breathing tubes are not fun. My thanks to the great Job and wonderful staff at St. Thomas they could not have treated me better and I feel great we are so privileged to have such access to quality care!
I just had 3 bypass on Nov.11. Dr.Tedder was amazing. I had the nest nurses in the business. Star,Adora, Ashley. Thank you from the bottem of my heart. The nicest and most hard working ladies. St.Thomas is lucky to have them.
My father has stage 4 lung cancer and was literally starving to death.. the care he had on the 7th floor this stay was ridiculous. I know hospitals have rules concerning visitors.. But the only ones there for him was my mom and myself.. I am a nurse and they depend on me to break down what the Dr's and nurses are telling them...my dad is 73 years old hard of hearing and at the time his mentality was less than normal related to the dehydration, and pneumonia.. you guys should really take into consideration the elderly peopl... read more
