went into the ER this afternoon with my 8 year old son who fell and hit his head on a concrete step at the ball fields. he has a deep gash above his eye. bled through numerous bandages. it was difficult to keep him awake. but I was told that he wasn't a priority over others being called back which was a crock of bs with a 8 year old bleeding from the head.

You have NOTHING about your current restrictions involving visitation on your website, or anywhere else, until we walked in the door! ABSURD restrictions limited to 2 visitors a day is a contradiction to everything you have outlined on the website. RecommendedThe billing department leaves something to be desired. The have erroneously billed me almost $10,000.00 and trying to reach someone is not happening. My insurance company sent them a notice about the bill a moth ago, still no response to either myself or my insurance company. Went on line to make payments on 2 other small accounts that I made payment arrangements for, before St. Thomas became "Ascension" and they both say PAST DUE PAY IN FULL. Completely appalled that STRH would have staff back at work less than 48 hours after showing signs of Covid simply because they were fever free for 24hrs. Positive covid case in the home and everyone living in the home has now shown symptoms. The lack of care for your staff AND your patients is infuriating.
From the moment I arrived in the er Sunday august 23 2020 they were making sure my needs were met. The nurses and doctors were telling everything they were doing and going to do . They were very kind took very good care of me
I wouldn’t step foot in this hospital again if my life depended on it. Gross negligence in the ER, very unintelligent hospitalist, overcharging, charging for things never done, ignoring nurse calls for hours, improper PPE, not following protocol, etc. This hospital was a JOKE during a recent 5 day stay. And all the director of medicine and patient advocate can say is “we are sorry, it shouldn’t have been this way.” Go somewhere else if you have a choice and aren’t taken via ambulance.
I died at this hospital, don’t go here. You have been warned. I was told I had cancer. They strapped me to a bed, strangled me and injected me with 3 different substances that altered my memory, vision, and blood. Im already looking at attorneys, no one should die at the hands of racism or careless nurses & doctors.
On July 16, my mom was admitted to ER, very sick and 83 years old. Spent 28 hours in ER before ever going to a room, then was moved to the 5th floor. She was there six days. While there, the room was not always cleaned and my sisters and I had to spend 24 hours a day with her so she would be taken care of. Because, the first night alone since we were not allowed to stay that night, when moved to 5th floor, they restrained her and and sedated her and someone stole her diamond wedding rings.
