We went to St. Luke’s ER for my son. We called to make sure they had a Sonogram setup at the location. They assured us they did. When we arrived they told us it was a Mobil unit and it would be an hour wait. They advised us to go to Children’s Mercy ER. We did and everything with my some was fine. I now received 2 ER bills from both St Luke’s and Children’s Mercy Hospital for 2500$ each. St. Luke’s Did nothing and still got paid. I was not happy and will not be going back since I have multiple Hospitals to choose from.
I was supposed to have heart stents placed on Monday. My nurse was the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!!! Judge mental and condescending... listened in on a private conversation with my daughter and I and didn’t like what she heard so I guess her feelings got hurt... eavesdrop and you deserve whatever you hear... heard me say unsavory things about her. Called security on a HEART FAILURE PATIENT!!! House supervisor , Rebecca, wanted me to sign a behavior contract or be kicked out... they lost my clothes wouldnt give me a hot meal after surgery and of many things went there before through er didnt treat me put me in a uber sent me home mind you i was sick went to research they admitted me last yr i was really ill just got released been in the hospital for a year and st lukes turned me a way i need my clothes

They need to take insurance off approved list if pre approved by insurance company and then they call patient to cancel after beginning prep and been through tests with doctor. Poor communication.
RecommendedThe staff couldn’t have been any sweeter, nicer, understanding, empathetic, sympathetic. I had surgery here and a week later had to go back into the hospital. I have never experienced such an A+ staff at any medical facility, anywhere. From the doctors, to the technicians for testing, lab techs, food service personnel, house keepers, the lists goes on and on.
