Had a wonderful time with my wife at the St. Louis zoo. Fun for the entire family.
It can get crazy busy on the weekends so expect a crowd even on Sunday but given they have free admission it is totally worth a bit of a wait on certain exhibits. Though you might want to bring cash.
Great for families or groups. Best of all its free! I never pay for parking. Just find a spot on the street and enjoy a short walk.
Great animals! Best time to go is around 3 or 4- when the animals start to get hungry they get active :)
It's free! Bring your own picnic lunch and make a day of it. Plenty of places to sit and eat!
They sell beer so you can deal with other people's screaming children but it's a zoo so expect children. Good exhibits. Parking is $15 but zoo admission is free.
Sting Ray's! In an amazing free park! $4 bucks a steal to feel the slimy feel! Believe It! I'm Gonna Be King of the Pirates!
The gorillas and chimps
The penguin house is a must visit.
