I lost consciousness while riding my bike on Jan 13th. Since then my life has been one supervised by one branch or another of St. Joe's. My primary physician is leaving this practice, yet he and his staff have responded helpfully at each call even though I'm moving to a primary care provider closer to where I live. My husband was experiencing chest tightness, dizziness and low blood pressure. He is a cardiac patient. We were ushered in immediately and his vitals were taken, including an EKG and bloodwork after the doctor came by. Then things went downhill. We were in the ER for over 4 hours with little or no contact from anyone. He was asked if he wanted a blanket to cover his bare chest, but none ever arrived.
