Midtown midwifery delivers at St Joseph’s hospital and does NOT provide midwife support for labor and delivery after working hours (aka at night). This means, if you have your baby after normal business hours you will be seeing their partner Doctors / MFM practice to deliver. You will not meet or know anything about these doctors at all until you arrive at the hospital for delivery. They never disclosed this information to me at any appointments. My experience with this practice wasn’t perfect. I have not met all the midwives and some were more attentive than others BUT Pam Weitzel is an MVP in my story. Not only was she absolutely incredible during my labor but even more so upon the delivery of my baby. I give her all the credit. I truly could not have had the amazing and empowering experience I did if not for her. They are not able to get a prescription filled. I went to Denver health and they took care of everything for free and the same day. It's crazy that someplace can take up to a week and another place can do it all in the same day because they know what they're doing

The midwives are honestly five stars, but the experience I had at St. Joe’s delivering was borderline traumatic. I won’t go into details, but if you’re looking for a VBAC, I don’t recommend coming here. Also, the front desk has always been very difficult to deal with and unpleasant. Because of these two negatives, I am transferring care for this last pregnancy. We received prenatal care from the midwives in 2022 for the birth of our first child, and I'm looking forward to our experience with our second pregnancy this year. I saw many of the midwives during my first pregnancy and birth (Connie, Mary, Pam, Noelle, Dierdre, Jennifer, Jodi). All were attentive, thoughtful, and caring.
