The Plymouth emergency room is awful. Nurse practitioner Amy Fish is part of the problem. She didn't treat me as a patient. She lied in her notes. About things she did , when she didn't do then. Lied about giving me a exam. Drug screened me yet wrote in her notes I was " oriented and aware. " Along with " my behavior and mood was normal ". I was there for my severe vertigo. My mother went the emergency room in Plymouth. Never talked to doctor a couple of nurse were extremely rude. Hardly helped her at all except to say you are welcome to come here but you should go to memorial hospital. So disappointed in service and the one rude nurse. People Plymouth go somewhere else.
They will let you die with their carpeted waiting room. Disgusting hospital and hostile, unfriendly and cruel staff. They need to close forever.
We live in between plymouth and winimac, and we MUCH prefer St J over any other hospital in the area. We have seen Dr. Dejong in the ER a few times and have been extremely happy with his care. He's kind, wants to hear from you. Doesn't see you for five seconds and send you packing. He listens to your concerns and addresses them. In the last 4 years, I have been to the ER and both of my kids and each time I leave feeling confident in his dx and with his care plan. Horrible bed side manors, tried to get the person with me to sign medial papers while I was getting x-rays. Never fully registered me as a patient was not interested in my allergies and then came back into give me meds that I was allergic to and when I didn't take them. I was never offered anything else. Horrible horrible service.
