The Onyx team was very professional on time and followed up. They were able to troubleshoot and diagnose an intermittent problem. Motor now runs great. They even followed up with a call about a month later to check and see how things were going with the motor. Highly recommend, thanks for your great service!
BE AWARE. ….They will ask you to sign “permission to work on your boat “ but actually what you are signing is that “if you don’t pay” you give them permission to put a lien on your boat. Tech found the problem in 20 minutes but kept looking around for about an hour to increase the time. How I know that? Because I am an Engineer. Than I received the parts estimate which was about $250 more then market. but when I asked them how many ours to be charged since the problem was known no answer 4 times asked. No answer. Why? Sail Onyx responded professionally to our boat needs. They thoroughly covered what was needed, and how they would accomplish those goals. Their communication is excellent; expect daily contact, emails, calls, and texts. They are thorough and knowledgeable. I am happy to recommend them.
I hired sail onyx to preform a correction after a previous company had created a short in my panels, we didn’t have an ac, generator and my sea keeper was shutting off. It took two weeks to correct the damage created by the other company. I wish I knew onyx earlier, I would save time, money and a lot of energy. I recommend onyx and will keep using them in the future.
I have been taking my boat for annual engine services and lastly a paint job with cushions reupholstered. Work is a 10/10 and the customer services is beyond any company I have ever worked with.
