Classic predatory leasing company. I rented a studio apartment here from 2022-2023. When I gave them 1+ month notice that I was leaving, the landlord said my lease had auto-renewed although I was neither given notice that there was such a clause in the lease nor was I given any notice after signing the lease. This meant I had to pay $3,000 up front to break the lease and pay the monthly rent for each month the apartment did not get rented for up to 3 months after breaking the lease. I've been living at the Sail Cloth Factory since December, 2023. My apartment is close to my job, and it is walking distance to the stadiums. My apartment is nice. The ceilings are in the 14' range, and it is exposed wood beams from the original factory. I have a washer and a dryer in unit. My windows are big, and they let in a wonderful amount of light. The Sail Cloth Factory building is a fine place to live. Elevators work. Nice, spacious, well appointed lofts. walking distance (I mean 5 mins to camden yards and about 10 to MT bank stadium) from the stadiums....but the real star of the show is Allegra Berle, the property manager. She will go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that everything is running perfectly in the building.
