I cannot recommend Dr Sohrabian. I went to her for pre-op testing for a procedure and she didn’t communicate to me that she wasn’t going to clear me for the pre-op. Two weeks went by. I found out one hour before I had to leave for the hospital (that’s another story! UCLA systems aren’t working properly!). Why wouldn’t she clear me? Because I have a low heart rate which I’ve had my whole life. I had a 10-hour surgery after after having an EKG that showed a low heart rate. Dr. Sohrabian- the best!
Dr. Sohrabian diagnosed me with a high cholesterol after a echocardiogram. That's impossible. Even when I kindly asked her to change it, she refused. I've tried two other UCLA cardiologists, and both are fixated on my taking a statin, even though I made it clear I will not. In the meantime my heart arteries are calcified, I have aortic stenosis that went from mild to moderate in less than two weeks and the other three valves are regurgitating. Today was a great visit. Dr. Sohrabian has solved my 99 3/4 years old mother’s high blood pressure problem and gotten it into the correct range. She adjusted her medications perfectly. She is caring and so smart and great to visit with. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs to see a cardiologist.
Dr. Sorabian is experienced and knowledgeable. She works with my other doctors as a team, and ressured me when I was worried that I had serious problems. She discovered the source of my symptoms, snd alleviated them by making changes to medication.
