Each year we visit for the pow wow and freedom walk. My mom is a member of Saginaw Chippewa tribe. Visiting each year brings back memories of my papa chief Perry Bailey how we would visit our family from Mt pleasant. The soaring eagle is just beautiful and all the activities are so much fun! Can't wait until next year!!

I am so very PROUD to be a member of the SCIT !! To be a parent of 2 daughter's who BOTH graduated from universities in Michigan with $0.00 debt thanks to our tribe & the MITW, means the world to me !! I am thankful for our per capita but more thankful for my daughter's education & financial help they gave them !! For that I will always be grateful!!! I'm super proud they both chose an education!! They didn't have to struggle since our tribe backed them 100 💯 %!!! Yes, we are blessed!! Chi Miigwetch !!!
Hy! I come from Europe, living on an island Iz in the Republic of Croatia. Many of my poeple are part of Cheppewa and Raven. As i can tell wery inteligent, brave, deep in thinkng, witout caring of the Carrier, but as time i passing by loosing our indentety and adipting the Modern way.
