Last night I went on a date with my boyfriend and decided to try this cute looking restaurant in Washington Heights / Inwood. The ambiance, music and lighting was perfect, service was very polite and courteous and the food was delicious! I strongly recommend the pesto sauce on the pasta of your election. We had an amazing time.
Excellent meal and very good and attentive service. So glad to have this in our backyard. The description on google maps needs to be updated. Saggio is not a fast food restaurant!
Food, while cheap, is average. The manager (I think it was he) is excessively rude. We won’t be back, after giving it several chances.
Great food. My daughter and I enjoyed sautéed calamari, kale caesar salad, chicken piccata and lasagna. We didn’t have room for dessert. Ambience is good. ( a little bit too dark). Our last Italian meal in the neighborhood as we move back to Naples, FLORIDA.

Delightful and intimate spot in Washington Heights with a full regular menu and daily specials. Saggio has an excellent wine list and a full bar, with excellent desserts, appetizers and pastas. Be prepared to bring a miner's helmet though. It's darker than the inside of a cow. This is not a criticism, but merely an observation. Good for canoodling.

My #1 spot in the heights ! Every time I go there they get it right ! They treat me so good and just make me feel welcome. Let's say the bread the olives the wine the pasta the steak the coffee the tiramisu it's all amazing ! Thank you Saggio. Can't wait for your next venture to open. The owner Peter and his nephew Cal are also amazing business owners who truly care about the neighborhood - well they did grow up here Im pretty certain.

Exception service - perhaps the best waiter we've ever had - and equally wonderful food. We went in wet, tired and grumpy. We left warm, grateful and completely satisfied. A+++
Probably the best meatballs I've ever had! The gelato wasn't bad either. Actually every thing was really tasty!

There has been a lot of hype and recommendations to eat here, however, it was just ok. Handmade pasta or not, I don't think we will be going back.
