Great southwest ambience...built in the 1920’s for “The Carrage Trade” driving to the west...at a time Taos was exploding with art and literature...several of the original buildings are Adobe with giant cedar trees forming the ceilings...still well preserved...lodging and services are outstanding.
If you get a chance to stay there you'll be amazed awesome time good people the rooms are awesome very new Mexican
I love this place..... wonderful atmosphere and homely feel to it.
The people here are so friendly. The location is excellent for hiking and town central. The bartender was amazing. He had so much energy and shares information about the area that added to our trip.
Don’t trust your reservation here. I booked mountain view and got a pool view. (I booked Mountain View to avoid being by the pool ) Then was told at the front desk there was nothing she could do about it. The pictures show an older (when it was newer) version of the hotel. It’s ok, but not what the pictures show. Not a train wreck, but don’t believe it all...
Such a cute place to stay up in the mountains on a snowy night with the fireplace going and snow falling down. The courtyard was pretty to walk through the snow after dinner at night with the trees all lit up with lights. Our food was excellent!! I had the corn tortilla tacos, they were homemade and oh so delicious!! And the Prickly Pear Margarita was amazing � Our room was a little chilly, but once we got the fire going, it warmed right up.
