Lived at the Sagamore from 2020-21 and it was by far the best rental experience I’ve had in Seattle. Laura- the landlord- was absolutely amazing. She provided us with a move-in kit at the beginning of our lease of all the household essentials and always responded quickly to any requests we had for maintenance (which were few and far between). The Sagamore was a fantastic place to live! Laura is one of the nicest, most transparent landlords I have had. She never made it feel like something breaking was going to be blamed on me, unlike landlords I have had in the past. She was very responsive and always addressed any concerns my roommate or I had. The building was very secure, given it is in the heart of U district. If I left my windows open the smell of the Thai restaurant below always made me hungry. The Sagamore is a great place to live! My wife and I lived there for about 2 years and loved it! Laura is one of the best managers i've had the pleasure of renting from. She is responsive, friendly, and makes you feel right at home. The apartments are well maintained and the parking garage, while a tight fit, is secure. I would recommend the Sagamore to anyone looking to live in the U-District.
Lived in the building for about 4 years: in a studio unit and then a one bedroom. The building is well maintained, the units are well designed, and it’s a fantastic location. Amenities include secure parking, secure entry, washer/dryer in unit, and cat friendly! When I was there we did an annual mixer with free food and drinks on the rooftop.
