The salmon with shiitake mushrooms is amazing!!!! My husband loved his halibut. The service was superb!
Nice restaurant with a great dining room to take in the bayshore activity. It is at the end of a short pier so you can enjoy seeing the tidal sealife on your walk out. There were people catching crabs outside which was fascinating to watch as we ate. I stopped there yesterday for lunch. I had a great corner table with a stunning view. I've seen the view many, many times before, but sitting by the water is calming to me. The lunch entree was right what I was wanting for lunch: seafood. It was halibut, lightly breaded and grilled over linguini with smoked salmon pieces and scallops, in a lemon cream sauce. OMG was it delicious!!
I try to eat at Safron Salmon every time I'm in Newport. Excellent food. Amazing view. Great service! I've never been disappointed.
