The grocery store is great. It is the pharmacy with which I have trouble. On Dec 27th at about 1:15 pm I went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription that had been called in by my doctor. The pharmacy assistant on duty denied that my doctor had called. She was sarcastic and rude. I telephoned my doctor to verify that he called in the prescription. I read the reviews and felt apprehensive about going to the store. I didn't smell anything bad and it was one of the new stores. Only reviews that I can verify that the lines are long over 6 people deep. I also didn't find any bad attitudes. I think the service has improved since the customers reviews from last year.

I was there on 9/13/10 and had to use the ladies bathroom..OMG, it was filthy, I mean filthy. It made me sick. Then I had to stand in line for over 30 minutes, there were only three cashier's, and it was late in the day, people getting off from work, tired and do you think we want to stand in line?! This is not the first time or the second time I have seen such chaos in this store. Please give me a Safeway that I can be proud of in my community.
