I was in the North Point neighborhood some weeks ago because I hauled some things over to the Goodwill down there. I figured that, since I had my cart with me, I'd go over to the North Point Safeway and take care of my grocery shopping. So went to Northpoint Center Safeway to do our grocery shopping, as we do weekly (at least $175 each visit if not more between food and pet needs so they get nearly $800 a month from us just saying). I hadn't been feeling good the last few days but had no choice. Had lunch with my people in the same mall (ironically chinese food as we live in Chinatown)... third aisle in and my tummy turned😱! After checking the website- closing time 11.59 PM, we arrived there to find they were closing at 7pm. The explanation we were given was that they had put up early closing signs in the store, they considered this sufficient notice. Having arrived in SF late this afternoon, looked up the website and walked from our hotel we were not satisfied that it had been handled well. Who bears the responsibility for this decision and its implications for customer service?

The staff are not very friendly, they don't smile or ask if I need any help finding anything. The staff are not welcoming
