Slow service that sometimes includes a crude & rude manager. Prices often double what I pay elsewhere. BUT currently they are allowing a white supremacist to hold ‘demonstrations’ on their property. I used to go to Safeway for some items even though it required dealing with prior issues. Now? I am happy to even pay extra to have product delivered to me from a different store, rather than give them a penny. Truly a disgrace.
I am genuinely not given great customer service when I shop at this Safeway. most recently there were literally 8 employees all joking about the Covid-19 at the front registers in a group, this is very serious situation. I also found expired product and the employees at the register found it funny, very unprofessional and disturbing.
Customer service has gone downhill, and shame on you for firing a few really good people who had seniority. I'll be looking for another place to shop.
Almost without fail there will be something on sale with just for u that doesn't come up for the sale price at the register. Frustrating and costly.
It’s really the only place in Sweet Home to shop. Saying that, you have to be conscious of the time of day, they are horrible having enough checkers during busy times, LONG lines around 5:00.
The pharmacy is a nightmare! it's so bad its predictable they will mess up. will not have your order ready. clowns manage that place. so sad.
RecommendedI go at least 3 to 6 times a week. Great employees make it a good environment. I applied for a job and i hope i get to work with them.

The Sweet Home Safeway is the crappiest, filthies store i have seen in Linn County. Fresh produce shouild not rott after three days after purchase. Prices do not reflectr anything close to decent products. Employee`s are now slower than hell, worse than when Safeway owned the store. So, if you want low grade produce, aged meat, and crappy other products.. go get you some. That is after you have to walk though crowds of sweet Home meth head tweekers shoplifting.
