Stopped to get sandwiches at the deli last night after a pretty horrible drive from Oregon. Our five kids (15, 7, 5, and 4 ye old twins) were traumatized after we had an accident due to black ice. They were restless from being locked in a van for 8 out of a 12 hour drive. Deborah from the Deli dept was so sweet and caring talking to my daughter. Sunday I went to the bakery dept and ask to order two pound cakes to be picked up on Tuesday evening. I was told it wasn't a priority this time of year and if I wanted to look in the freezer section there might be some. REALLY??? I then went to my car, called the Anderson Safeway bakery and ask for the same thing, she said "Sure" and they will be ready Tuesday. My business was more of a "priority" to them!! Kudos to the Anderson Safeway, they will go the extra mile for you. Thanks!!

I was in disbelief while shopping in Safeway this morning. The store manager was yelling at an employee on sales floor. Completely unprofessional even if it had been done in back room. Then when I got to check stand, the woman carried on her conversation with another employee during my full transaction. All I got from her was my total. I will say there was one employee, stocking in health area that was perfectly pleasant.
