The technician, Mario badly scratched the paint on my car, and didn’t tell me. Safelite denied their technician scratched my car. Also cost over $600 to replace my windshield, which is exorbitant in my opinion. If you do decide to use Safelite, I would recommend watching the technician like a hawk throughout the process.
In November of 2020 I had Safelite come out to repair my windshield that was damaged by a rock. In over 40 years of driving, never had a rock hit the windshield. Prior to the repair, I was told they only use OEM Parts. They came out and did the repair and I never thought another thing about it. Then along comes April 2021 (less than 5 months after the repair) and I discover a crack that goes from the review mirror through the drivers field of vision.
