I would give 0 stars if I could. We have had problems in the past but decided to give this place another try. Big mistake. My puppy has been sitting in a cage for FIVE hours and I picked her up looking way worse than when I dropped her off. This is her first time going to a place like this as we have been using a mobile groomer and she had the worst experience. She is COVERED in pee and seems extremely stressed out. Incredibly overpriced. I want to start with the positive. Safari is a clean facility that is staffed with pleasant people. My two dogs stayed for 10 days and seemed fine when I picked them up. It was the bill that floored me. $1200 for the most basic services. Some of this was nickel and dime stuff. The base price was around $32 a night. One dog was a couple of dollars higher than the other dog. Not sure why. One dog was charged for ten nights, the other for eleven nights. I boarded my 3 dogs at the Safari Pet Resort December 14th through the 22nd. I am new to the area and toured several facilities before I decided on Safari Pet Resort. I am gravely disappointed that I made this choice. My dogs have been boarded before, at several different facilities and I have never had an experience that made me this upset. Best Place in the World for Pets! – My dog Buddy has dubbed Safari the "best place in the world to be" any day of the week! He loves going there. Staff members are always friendly. They know my dog by sight and always call him by name. He responds to them like he has missed seeing a long lost friend every time I take him there. Beautiful – Fluffy was beautiful and fresh and clean when my son picked him up.... also you used the herbal anxiety drops my vet gave me and he did so much better without sedation, thank you for being agreeable to use them! Very Pleased, always have been!
