My husband and I filed for bankruptcy in 2014 as my husband who was a Software Engineer was diagnosed with Parkinson DX.. We filed Bankruptcy in Montgomery County. This turned out to be a nigh mare. The bankruptcy fee went from $300.00 to $800.00, then $1236.00. The lawyer was always unreachable, would not show up to court The lawyer put a stipulation on our house without telling us and we received a Sheriff Notice in the mail, that is how we found out that we were losing our house. I went to look for the lawyer and turns out he is in jail for a DUI, etc. I made a complaint and he was disbarred until 2022. No compensation given to us. Eventually, we hired another Montgomery County Lawyer., Another Night mare. Bottom line he wanted to keep us in the same mess as the previous lawyer and he added a Stipulation on the house causing us to pay over $3000.00 a month. This lawyer was horrible as the first one. I ended up firing him and we were on our own for about a year without a lawyer. Eventually, we realized that we would need to find an Exceptional Lawyer after the experience we had with the two Montgomery county Lawyers.
I am HAPPY to say, we decided to get out of Montgomery County and Head to Philadelphia. I have always Heard Philly Lawyers are the BEST!
In 2018, we contacted Sadek and Cooper Law Offices, LLC. This is the Best Decision we have made. We hired Brad Sadek, Esq. I now have a Stress Free Bankruptcy... We have not been to court for any reason since we filed the bankruptcy in 2018. We are paid up to date on our bankruptcy and all our bills. And we even received a Congratulation Letter for making all the payments on time from the Trustee. Never received any Congratulation Letters when the Montgomery County Lawyers were handling our case, "just be at court notices and stipulations."
