Just walking thru the door, we were greeted warmly. We arrived early, had a drink at the bar. Our bartender was excellent and very friendly. We were shown to our table on the second floor where soft jazz and Christmas music was playing. The four course tasting menu was exquisite. Always a wonderful experience during the holidays
What an amazing experience. Unique food selection, great staff, and wonderful ambiance. One of a kind setting especially in LA. The owner personally greeted us amd remembered my family from their previous trips there; so I can see why this place is so legendary. The elk filet is a must have!
Slightly off the Canyon Road and a beautiful drive up to Saddle Peak lodge as you enter this beautiful rustic venue you feel at home. There isn't anything that I could say that was negative about this venue or the staff and food it is all five star. I can't wait to go back. Bravo for many years of Excellence
I had the trio and I enjoyed my choice. Started with a tiny cup of vegetable soup that was very tasty and smooth. The Elk was exceptional the sauce was great. Buffalo was good and tender. I thought the Emu(sp) was tough and had no flavor. The sides were great. My brother had Water Buffalo and it was chewy and tough. The atmosphere was great and the service was fantastic.
Every course in the Thanksgiving menu was absolutely superb!
