Dr. Hirahara is my hero. The care that he has taken in fixing my knees is no less than miraculous. Dr. Hirahara listens to his patients. He will do what is best for each patient. There aren't enough words to express my thanks for Dr. Hirahara and his "straight-shooting" personality and works. Dr. Alan Hirahara will consult with you, tell you what he can do, ask what your thoughts are and he will take the absolute BEST care of you.

I've had 3 surgeries over the past 20 years with Dr Hirahara and am very impressed and 100% satisfied with his skills as a surgeon. Aside from his professionalism and expertise, he genuinely cares about you the patient. I'm 56 and just had meniscus surgery this morning. My knee is already moving freely without locking up and very little pain. What I really like about Dr H is that he takes the time to explain the cause of the problem and how he intends to fix it. Explains the physical therapy and healing process of what he be... read more

Dr. Hirahara is a very skilled Orthopedic surgen. He's done 3 surgeries and I'm due for a 4th but we've put it off due to scar tissue needing to heal.

I selected Dr Hirahara from many others because I wanted a successful rotator cuff repair. He failed miserably. I needed three surgeries and still am having shoulder pain. After the first surgery I developed adhesions that the Dr told me needed to broken up he had an associate that had an office in the same building do this causing the second surgery where he put me out and rotated my shoulder until it was free to move. I still had major pain Dr Hirahara operated on me again. During the follow-up appointment he told me that ... read more
