My elderly 88-year-old mother is a patient at this clinic who we routinely take for appointments. Lately her mobility has been declining and it’s been difficult bringing her to appointments. Every time my father has an appointment at this eye clinic, we end up waiting a very long time to see the doctor. He uses a wheelchair and always has a scheduled appointment, but we still have to wait. Each visit takes about two hours from start to finish for a simple check-up. We are often told that they are very busy and have many patients, but appointments should be scheduled in a way that patients don’t have to wait this long. Had a pretty good experience in the beginning but day of surgery was a disaster. Check in time was at 2pm and they called me 10 minutes before check in time to tell me they had to cancel the surgery and that we would have to reschedule. I waited 2 months to have this surgery and had to drive over an hour to get there. 3 family members rearranged their schedules so I can be there day of surgery.
