My child was badly beaten by 2 other patients while asleep in her bed at this hospital. These 2 other patients were supposed to have had 1 on 1 supervision due to their prior threats towards my child. My child was rushed to ER from this hospital. After which, the admin of Sacramento Behavioral Health Hospital attempted to medically kidnap my child from me in order to readmit her into their hospital, where they failed to protect her in the first place! i called during a mental health crisis, was told to go to their office & check in, where they would save me a bed. made plans with my caseworker & program director, got approved for time to spend at facility, walked several hours to facility, only to find out they didnt save me a bed. which not only was massively depressing, but also disrespectful & tragic. i then had nowhere to go. they told me i can go back next day (today) but why would i? knowing full well they wont honor their own arrangements.

Horrible Horrible place for my daughter!!!!!! She was worse when she came out then going in. Anyone I have talked to since then I encourage STRONGLY to find another place !!!!!

Update : 24 hours later and still no meds .I had to fill an old Rx from her prior Drs office for one of her meds but we still don't have the mental health med. The most important med. With out it she goes into seizures and she is already starting to have slight twitches.She is already starting to show signs that her body physically needs her meds. The state needs to Admit this place . They can't treat people like this. There needs to be accountability. My daughter got discharged today with no medicine RX I have called for 4 ... read more
