Worked hard to custom make my western show saddle and make sure it fit my horse . Awesome service.
My horse muscled up and his saddle no longer fit him well. This was the only saddle shop within several hours of me that had the ability to fit western saddles. She came right to the barn and tried a bunch of trees on my horse. The Tucker wide tree was just right! Then she not only let me try the saddles I thought I wanted on my horse, but I got to do a test ride in them as well. Nothing like actually getting to try a saddle in action. They came all the way down to Ledyard, CT to fit my Arabian mare to a new saddle. Great service! Will definitely be coming back for future purchases!
For two years in a row they put up with me visiting the shop during Equine Affaire. I sat on every saddle they had. I brought my horse's back pattern. I came back again the next year and sat on every saddle they had. I finally purchased a custom black Julie Goodnight Monarch Circle Y last November thru them. I absolutely love this saddle. The folks at Sackett Ridge were very patient with me. Nice folks-I will be back again this year for some lighter shopping.
I visited the shop yesterday to help outfit a used saddle that I had recently purchased elsewhere. Sam was fabulous and I cannot say enough how much I appreciate all the knowledge she shared with me, helping me to feel even more comfortable, as I am relatively new to the horse world and riding. It was, by far, the best customer service I have had anywhere in recent times and really deserves a shout-out. I look forward to being a regular customer! Thanks again, Sam!
