The elegant Sachs Covered Bridge that stretches across the Marsh Creek dates back to the 1850s era. This covered bridge was utilized by both the troops in the Battle of Gettysburg that was fought during the American Civil War. A part of the Gettysburg National Military Park, this town truss bridge is incorporated in the National Register of Historic Places.
