This doctor misdiagnosed me with a disease I did not have and told me my symptoms were due to anxiety and sent me on a wild goose chase for breast cancer. Dr. Carvajal was thorough in explaining my condition and explaining things in detail, she was kind and courteous. The Office is immaculate, the staff is courteous with plenty of free parking, just remember to take the parking ticket with you to get validated in the building.

My PCP referred me to Dr. Pastor-Carvajal to follow through. Dr. Carvajal was kind, professional and courteous. She explained in detail what needed to be done, her assistant Maria was considerate and competent, I appreciated her kindness it made me feel immediately more comfortable and calm.

This doctor does not follow up at all, I was in the emergency room twice in one week I called to let her know and she never got back with me. I will be reporting her to the hospital and the board of health. I had severe dehydration and anemia and the doctor at the hospital said I was lucky I came in when I did. It’s clear this doctor does not care about her patients and hates her job. Do not go to this doctor under any circumstances especially if it’s your first time being pregnant.

I would not recommend this obgyn to someone. She was nice, but when it came time for my delivery she told me all the ways I and my baby *would die if I tried to deliver my very large baby naturally. She tried to set a csection date against my wishes. At the hospital, the doctors were very kind, walked me through terminology I might hear and timelines my baby had to keep, and she came in saying all the ways we were not might going to die again,moments before pushing.
