Because of COVID i had my appointments with the nurse on the phone. She didn’t try to get to know me. On my first medication she had me taking a seroquel two times during the day and only a small amount st night. I think not. the final straw was when I talked to the staff about getting a disability form filled out. Despite having my old records that show me on SSDI for the last 8yrsvthey said they wouldn’t fill out the form till I was being at the office for a year. BEWARE! I would give zero stars if I could. I have been going here for two months b/c they were on my insurance. I have never seen Dr. Sheika but have seen the nurse 3 times. The first two times she saw me for less than five minutes each time. The second time she sent in the wrong prescription and I had to call the office to get it corrected. The third time I went I told her that I wasn't feeling that great (came to find out later the the dose of medicine she gave me was too low- too long of story to explain why on here) but... read more
Have been seeing Dr. Sheikha for 11 years and would never go anywhere else. The entire office staff is professional.
The office staff is very rude and incompetent. They are unable to explain things well when it comes to insurance problems, and they will flat out yell and argue with you. Further, their nurse practitioner is flat out incompetent. After a few months of trying getting all of my medical records to them- they still wrote down the wrong diagnosis, and failed to submit it correctly to insurance so I could get treatment. I really like Dr. Sheikha but every month it becomes a huge headache to try to get a refill authorization. They either tell me I call too early or I call on the day before I run out and it takes 3-5 business days to get my refill. A bit ridiculous considering I’m not supposed to miss a day of the meds. I’ve been a patient for around 6 months now and this has happened 4-5 times. Sadly I will probably have to switch providers because I don’t have the time or patience to deal with this anymore.
Super freindly staff and excellent experience with Doctor. So happy to finally find good sound help. Have been through the mill for last 10 yrs with yahoos.
The WORST doctor I have EVER encountered! We moved to the area and saw Dr. Sheikha for 2 years because we felt trapped and couldn't go anywhere else close. The wait is always 1 to 2 hours;I was told by one of his staff he books 4 patients every 15 minutes. That is less than 4 minutes per patient.One of the final reasons we left was him SCREAMING at me over his desk when I disagreed with him over something he said about my file. Turns out he was looking at the wrong file and never said sorry.
