The somewhat reasonable rent (even that is a stretch) is nowhere near worth it for the living conditions. They were always turning the heat off in the winter, the 4 laundry machines were always broken and would eat the quarters, elevator never worked, packages stolen, people shooting up in the stairwell, endless noise complaints about neighbors playing their instruments were never addressed. Will help you, begrudgingly, so long as you bother them enough.
Called them a thousand times because the radiator wasn’t working and it gets very cold at night. Yet nobody bothered to call back or do anything about it.
