Good Breakfast – There's a bit of a wait on a Saturday morning, but the food comes fast and it's really tasty. Lots of choices for breakfast, including corned beef hash or veggie burgers with your eggs. Try the vegetarian eggs benedict. Yum! Easy to get out of there for under $10 (tip included). Just remember to bring money with you; it's cash only.
A comfy place – I like this kind of diner. You never feel like leaving. THe staff was friendly, knowledgeable and quick. I'm really a sucker for good ol' country fixins, and this place has it. Very good bisquits and gravy, pancakes light, fluffy and they don't fall apart when covered with syrup. The only good parking you might find is if you worked for Sony pictures. But whenever I am in this neck of the woods, I will keep driving around the block to find a spot. This ia a real gem.
Industry Cool – This place has been an industry insider secret for a while now. Nestled between Sony Pictures and The Culver Studios, they do more business by 3pm than most do in two days. The staff is friendly, helpful, and not bad on the eyes. Breakfasts are best (Giant country style waffles & pancakes set it off!!) but the sandwiches are great as well. The atmosphere is "Hollywood Downtime" = unpretentious folks who just happen to make films. During the week parking sucks! On weekends get there early before lines form.
Great Place. – This place is great. They have the best breakfast in the culver city / westside area. You can get anything from eggs and bacon to eggs and pork chops. They also have great burgers and sandwiches. The prices are very cheap, you can have a tasty homemade breakfast or lunch for under $9. The only drawback is that they close at 3pm everyday.
