I placed a service call on my whirlpool washer on April 24th. We were told that it needed a new circuit board and that it would be ordered as soon as the technician got back to the job site. 4 weeks had passed and we were fed up with going to the washer to get our clothes washed. I told my mother to call them and find out what was going on. S & S Appliance of Bessemer Alabama is absolutely the worst appliance repair company I have ever dealt with. Lowes provided these people as a warranty repair service, they are awful. I’m really not sure why Lowes still has this company listed as repair service for the Mobile AL. area. They won’t answer calls, they won't return calls, they have a robocall confirm appointments then into the window of a 4 hours schedule make an excuses why they can’t come and cancel a scheduled appointment. 1 , one star is to many for this company. They are unprofessional, rude and liars. One of their techs lied about showing up at my house and pushed our repair back another 2 weeks. the answer the phone when they want to and pone of their receptionist is rude, she acts like you are interrupting her by calling their phone. Not to mention, they never ordered the part for our appliance. By for the WORST company that I have ever had to deal with. 4 yrs ago I had my first experience with S & S. They came due to a warranty issue with my KitchenAid refrigerator. After 10 service calls , it was finally repaired. Then in Oct 2021, refrigerator quit cooling. Service rep diagnosed& ordered new control board.Still haven't received the control board due to back order & they won't communicate with me. I really don't write reviews, but I have to agree with another customer that received rude and unprofessional responses from S&S Appliances (Bessemer, Alabama). I received the same experience from Huntsville, Alabama and I guess they don't care much about customers. I told Rosie (at S&S) that her lack of knowing how to treat customers had NOTHING to do with my appliance not being covered by warranty (there is a way to tell it to a customer without being rude).
