The Kalisu and Fire Rolls are amazing. Even the fried rice is excellent!
The spicy crab soup is so good that I wanted to ask for seconds. And thirds.
The Fire roll and The Crispy David are deep-fried goodness. Make sure to try them with ginger.
Memphis Sushi – Ryu has the best sushi in Memphis! Their sushi menu is extremely creative. You'll find combinations that other sushi bars haven't even dreamed of (Crispy David is my new personal favorite). In addition to the fantastic sushi, Ryu offers a large selection of soups, salads, and appetizers that are phenomenal. I recommend the spicy crab soup and seaweed salad. To top it off, everything is very reasonably priced.
Ryu sushi has become one of my favorite places to dine in Memphis. I live in downtown Memphis and pass several sushi places to get to this little gem! The staff is always friendly and helpful and the sushi rolls are always wonderful and fresh. They also have a hibachi menu which is excellent as well. If you are in the mood for sushi or a hibachi type meal Ryu won't leave you disappointed!
Fine authentic sushi Sushi is a rare find in Memphis, but you'll be glad you found Ryu. Trained Sushi chefs prepare fine japanese style rolls, hand rolls, and sashimi, along with other Japanese specialties.
