Great fried chicken and burnt ends. ambiance was perfect.
Fried chicken is always spot on. The Mac and cheese is a definite favorite. Brussel Sprouts are a touch salty, but good. The lemon meringue pie is amazing. Always a great place to dine.

I ordered a vanilla cake with lemon filling and cream cheese icing for my mothers birthday and it was the most beautiful cake, we didn’t even want to cut it. Of course we did cut it and it was amazing. Highly recommend.

Too expensive for the food and beverage selections
We visited for my wife's birthday and because it was a nice restaurant with fried chicken so our son would be happy. The food was great but the pie is ridiculous! Take home or split an dish so you aren't too full! Added bonus they had one of my favorite wines in the world which is never on a menu. But I won't tell you what it is lest they run out.

I thought the young staff were snarky and shocked we were not aware they just offered an appetizer menu on Sunday afternoons. If you are going to be open and have cooks on staff may as well serve a full menu. What, do you pay your cooks less on SundY afternoons?

We offer snacks, appetizers, salads, and a couple sandwiches during our mid-day menu from 2:30-5pm every day of the week. The food and ambiance is terrific. We were there on a Friday night and got stuck in a corner. The AC must have been broken or it isn't large enough to adequately cool the space. The food took a long time and our party of 6 was sweating and too hot and muggy to eat our food when it came out. I'd definitely go back if they fixed the air conditioner.
