I see Dr. Gallivan for chronic sinus issues that required surgery. I had my procedure done in-office and was honestly a little nervous not knowing what to expect. Both Dr. Gallivan and his assistant made sure I was very comfortable. There was no pain at all during the procedure and I only took a total of two extra strength Tylenol during recovery even though I was prescribed pain medication. Honestly, my recovery has been a breeze and I credit Dr. Gallivan for his expert medical care!
Dr. Gallivan along with Dr. Yundt performed a highly specialized procedure on me and the results were excellent!! The surgery was transphenoidal removal of a large pituitary tumor. To have a surgeon in Bend, OR (population 90K) trained in this approach is in and of itself very unusual. Dr. Gallivan is a pleasant, highly competent, professional surgeon who I would highly recommend should you have any issues and can travel to see him. He truly is an expert ENT doc.
Central Oregon ENT is a profit factory that seems to care little about patients. I have ongoing sinus issues and been seen by several doctors including an MRI. Took antibiotic history as well as my MRI to Ryan Gallivan. He didn't even take time to look at my long antibiotic history and did a "scope" ( 30 seconds, cost $453 out of pocket) and wrote a prescription for an antibiotic that has been ineffective for me. Next day, my primary Doctor wrote a better prescription. Huge waste of time & $.
Dr Gallivan is excellent! I had a great experience day one with him and his knowledge of ENT and sinus problems. I have had sinus issues for years and 2 prior surgeries and he recommend one more to help me. Since then I have been great and my problems are minimal now. I would recommend him to anyone needing allergy/sinus help!
